my mother Josie or Josefa Silva was 16 when she was forced to give up male child. She was taken to the Salvation Army for unwed mothers home in El Paso, TX or around that area...could have even been Las Cruces NM...It could of possibly been the Catholic Charities too....Then Child was then given up for adoption....Our years could be wrong so its between 1949, 1950 & 1951 or 1952 of his birth.
