I am Susan Saldana Foley and the birth mother of this male child who was born In Ft. Worth,. Texas, on September 22, 1969. The Catholic Charities arranged this adoption I think because they are the Organization that my mother took me to, and set this up for me to go into their home where other young girls who were pregnant and waiting for their babies to be born and giving their children up for adoption. Dr. Pumphrey is who delivered my son. My son was born at 1:57 am on September 22, 1969. I’m pretty sure that he weighed 7lbs 11oz, and was- 21 1/4" long . It’s unbelievable that I can remember this like it was yesterday, but it’s been over 51 years ago. This very important life memory is forever in my heart, and there is not a single day that goes by that I haven’t thought of losing the first love of my life. When I held him in my arms, I never wanted to let go. It can still bring me to tears, and I will never forget it, Ever!
