I am looking for a brother/sister. Jimmie and Barbie who were adopted at the ages 2 & 3 (3. & 4) at the time of adoption. They would have been adopted out of Texarkana‚ Texas in the early/mid 1980s. My parents were foster parents and had over 50 children in the 70s-80s. There were 3 of us (their children) and 2-4 foster children all the time. We had a pair of siblings‚ Barbie and Jimmy‚ that we were blessed to have for well over a year. I was especially close to Jimmie. He had light red hair and a cherub face. And Barbie had light blond hair and the cutest little curls. My name is Tifani but Jimmy couldn’t say that so he always called me “My Tip”. (I would have been pre-teen age. There were adopted together to the same family but we are unsure if they kept the same first names or if the Adoptive parents change or incorporated them into new names. My parents were Ray and Carol Birge. Now as parents/grandparents ourselves‚ and with technology as it has grown into. I would love to find them. To tell them how much they have stayed in my mind/heart over the years. My husband and I became foster parents ourselves in our younger years. I would just love to tell these two how much they were loved..
