I am searching for my half-brother who was born (we think) thru the Lena Pope Home in Fort Worth summer of 1967. My mothers name was Bertie "Ruth" Maddox, changed to Ruth Maddox Hargiss after she married my father. We do know the name of the father was James, they met in Job Corp possibly in New York? He was African American so my brother would be of mixed race. My mother told me and my sister about this when she fell ill and soon after unfortunately passed away. But we look forward to connecting. I have done an Ancestry DNA test but have not been connected with a half sibling as of yet.
