I was adopted at 4 days old from Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, TX. My adoption was handled through a private attorney, Joe D. Floyd. I was told by him that my birth mother came to live with her sister while she was pregnant and she was from either Georgia or Alabama. She met Joe Floyd through her doctor. The doctor was pretty sketch and got in trouble for profiting off of pregnant women and lawyers and there is a chance I was separated from my twin at birth. I would love to resolve if I have a twin brother or sister. We think brother bc my adoptive mom was told I was a boy and then when they came to pick me up said I was a girl and the boy baby died at birth. Joe Floyd was also very nervous when I spoke with him and remembered my exact adoption 25 years later. Now I’m 51 and just curious. I have a wonderful family and I’m not looking for any reason other than curiosity about my ancestry and maybe health history.
