My mother was 16 years old when she was pregnant with my older brother. She felt like she had no other choice than to give him up. She didn’t have the type of parents that would have helped her. The decision to give her son up for adoption haunts her every day. My only wish is to not only meet my brother but for my mom to hopefully see that she did the right thing because he was hopefully adopted by an amazing family. My mother and father both had children with other people two years before they had me. I have 2 brothers that are 2 years older than me. I have found one from my dad. But I haven’t found the brother from my mom. I know she was in fort worth staying at the edna Gladney center before she gave him up for adoption.
