My father was adopted by the Weise/Von Weise family, in San Antonio, Texas when he was 8yrs old. He remembered his name as being Richard Dale James before that adoption. I’ve DNA tested, and through my search I’ve found close relatives from the West Virginia area, with surnames of Pack, Lilly, Mann and Wood. Still can’t figure out exactly how we’re related though due to endogamy. 😱 Please contact if you recognize this as sounding familiar to you. Thanks
