Our mother Juan Pulliam had a daughter in 1967 and gave her up for adoption. Our grandmother Dorothy Pulliam was a RN at Baptist Memorial Hospital and mom got pregnant by a doctor’s son (Supposedly) and his parents adopted the little girl and raised her. I’m not sure if she even knows she was adopted. I’m not sure if the adoption took place in Memphis, TN but this is where we grew up.
