I am a birth parent of some children who were all adopted. My first boy just turned 18 and his little brother will also be 18 very soon. I am hoping that the two boys might try to find me, since they are adults now. However, I don’t want to intrude on their lives. I’m hoping they will search for me, when they are ready. I used to send Christmas and birthday cards to them every year through Children’s Protective Services where they said they would keep the cards until they are 18. Somewhere in downtown Nashville. The purpose of the cards was to let them know they were always thought of and missed and loved.
