My niece was adopted in April 1977-78 from Tennessee Children’s Home in Memphis, TN. She remembers the name as Baptist Children’s Home. She would like to find out as much as she can about her birth parents and/or Grandparents for medical reasons. She is 42, Caucasian, olive skin, brown hair, big brown eyes, petite about 5’ tall. I remember that she was placed for adoption by her Mother because she was unable to take care of her, she around the age of 2 at the time. Her name now is Jamie but that was not her original name. Any help she can get would be a blessing.
