My brother, Jacob and I have a younger sister named Brooklyn. In 2000, the court took us from our mom, Darlene, and my brother and I went to live with our dad and stepmom but Children’s Services wouldn’t let them take Brooklyn too - we got to see her a couple of times and think the family that she was adopted by live in Monterey, TN or close to it. We haven’t seen or talked to her in close to 20 years and we miss her very much. I have kids of my own so she’s also an aunt now.
