Christopher Smith attended Thomlinson Elementary School in High Point, NC. He stayed in the foster home on Centennial Avenue in High Point, NC. He was in the foster care system through the Children’s Home Society in Greensboro, NC. (Ms Gardenia? I know that’s not right but it seems like his case worker’s name started with a "G".) Jim and Janet Brown were going through the process of adopting Chris in 1977 or 1978. Chris was a part of that family for about a year and lived with them in High Point, NC. I do not believe the adoption went through, something happened but I’m not sure what as I was only 11 years old at the time. Jim Brown has since passed and Janet is not mentally well enough to remember. She says Chris had passed away but says that about everyone she can not remember. Can you help me find Chris Smith’s adoptive parents and or family please?
