I am a female adopted from a Knox County Hospital in Tennessee in September of 1955. I am told it was a welfare adoption. I have no knowledge of any siblings as it is not noted on my certificate. There was a discrepancy on my birthday, first being told the 22nd of April, then the 26th, but finalizing on the 24th. I was in a foster home for close to 5 months and called Jeanetta. I rolled out of bed and was kept for observation. I was allergic to cow’s milk and had to be fed goat’s milk. The attorney was a Mr. Robinette in Kingsport, Tennessee. I was the second child adopted by Martha Francis Woodfin and Darrell Doyle Fine of Kingsport, Tennessee and had an older brother, Darrell Steven Fine (2015), 2 1/2 years older that also was adopted. I grew up in Sullivan County where my parents lived until their deaths in 2008 and 2011.
