My name is Atriel Moore‚ & my aunt revealed to me when I was 18 that my mother had secretly given a son away 10 years earlier. My heart was immediately broken by the fact that a piece of me was out there somewhere & I had no idea if he was loved or safe. My mother kept this secret from me & still refuses to acknowledge or talk about it. Her name at the time of my brother’s birth was Sonya Rene Moore. She was still married to my father‚ Ronnie Jerome Moore‚ & this baby was not his child. He was born at a Baptist facility somewhere in Memphis‚ TN. She named him Adam Christopher I am not sure what last name was given to him. After questioning my father‚ he admitted it was true & showed me pictures of Adam as a newborn‚ along with letters that his adopted mother wrote to my mother. I have searched for years & hit dead ends‚ & I have asked as many questions as I can but my family insists on "staying out of it" as to not embarrass or hurt my mother. I don’t care about that. I NEED to find Adam!!
