I was adopted when I was 18 months from the Baptist Home for children in Memphis‚ Tennessee. When I was 36 years old my mother called me at work and told me the state of Tennessee opened their adoption records and I should call them. After that‚ she wouldn’t tell me anything else. This was out of character for her to call me and say something and just hang up.
