I am looking for the parents of William "Billy" Edward Letson (birth or adopted name), born in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee on April 27, 1947. He believes his natural father was in the military, and recalls the name Brownlee, but he is not sure if he is connected to the Brownlee family. He also believes some of his family is from Alabama. Billy grew up in the Wilder St., Dodson Ave. side of Chattanooga, and also lived in Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee. He died in Florida. He was in the Marines in the Vietnam War. I know there was a Tennessee Children’s Home in Chattanooga and assume he was initially placed there.
