I am searching on behalf of my mother, she was born in St Margarets hospital Great Barr in 1946 She was taken from her mother at 6 weeks old and taken to wednesbury orphanage where she remained for 3 years she was then fostered out but my mother thinks she was never adopted by the same parents that fostered her whome she stayed with till he married life her birth mother we think is Maud Florence Smith born in 1920 and got released from st margarets in 1960
