According to my adoption paperwork‚ my birth mother (Sook J. Kim) was full blooded Korean and was born around 1942. She had a common law marriage relationship with my biological father before they parted ways on 30 Apr 1971. My biological father was born sometime around 1940 and was in the US military‚ stationed in South Korea for an unknown length of time. My birth mother relinquished me to KSS Inc in Seoul on 19 Feb 1972. I was adopted internationally and flown to the United States (Minnesota) on 30 Aug 1972. I have DNA tested with Ancestry and 23andMe. I have several DNA matches with the surname Ward on my paternal side.
