I was adopted through Holt Korea brought to the united states in December 1971 by way of Eugene‚ Oregon (Where Holt is located) then to Portland‚ Oregon. I was originally to come when I was 5 months old‚ was told that my birth mother changed her mind‚ then my adoptive parents were contacted 2 months later and asked if they still wanted me and that the birth mother changed her mind again. At the time‚ she was 22 years old per the adoption release forms from Korea. She gave me up in August of 1971. I stayed with a foster mom not in the orphanage. My Korean name is Koh‚ Soon-Duk.
