My birth name was Kim, Soon Young. I was born on December 9, 1984 in the Kyungki Do province in South Korea, I’m pretty sure near or in Seoul. My mother’s name was Na, Sam Soon. My parents were young and I wasn’t provided with my father’s first name - only his family name - Kim. I lived in a foster home for a few months as well as an orphanage and was adopted by an American family on May 9, 1985. This is a broad and first attempt at finding my biological mother. I’ve been living in Pennsylvania ever since and my name is Kathryn now.
