The orphanage were I stayed was 106-17 Cho-dong, Choong-Ku, Seoul, Korea. I was given the name Hei Sin Kim, since there was no record of my original name. My family name Kim and family origin Han Yang were established on March 22, 1977. My guardian’s info: Youn Taek Tahk, born June 10, 1922. His permanent address was 24-91, Hwakok-dong, Youngdeungpo-Ku, Seoul, Korea. His employer was Social Welfare Society, Inc. I had a foster father, age 38 and a foster mother, 35 who had long experience with the agency. I am adopted by Jozef Dillen and Frieda Bauwens from Belgium, where I arrived on June 26, 1977. I don’t want to force any family reunion. I just want to let my birth family know that I am happy and in good health. My main wish is that my birth family is in good health too.
