I was born as Whang Ok Jung in Busan‚ South Korea. After my father died‚ my mother gave me the opportunity to move to Seoul and stay in an orphanage with the expectation that I would be adopted by a single female doctor in Hawaii ... but it never happened. Ultimately I was adopted by a couple in Minnesota. I have been back to So. Korea once since then‚ but have lost track of my siblings. My mother likely passed away by now. I have posted photos of my siblings on Facebook and Banet.
