Hello‚ I am searching for my birth parents and biological family and hoping to reconnect with anyone who may have information about my origins. I was adopted from South Korea‚ and unfortunately very little information was shared with my adoptive parents by the orphanage. What I do know is that my adoptive father was stationed overseas in the U.S. Navy‚ and my parents visited me regularly at Jinhae Hope Children’s Home in Jinhae-gu‚ Changwon City‚ Gyeongsangnam-do‚ South Korea. I lived at the orphanage until I was around three years old‚ after which I lived with my adoptive parents in Jinhae. My adoption paperwork was completed on September 30‚ 1988‚ and in 1989 I moved with my family to Virginia‚ USA‚ where I was later naturalized as a U.S. citizen. My Korean name was Park Myung Su (박명수). I was born on June 6‚ 1984‚ and I have been told that I may have had one brother‚ though I have no further details. If any of this sounds familiar‚ or if you have information that could help connect me to my birth family‚ I would be deeply grateful to hear from you.
