My birth mother lived in a village called Munsan-Ni, South Korea. My birth father was an American military man, he recalls that her name was Kim and that she was the daughter of a local shopkeeper. They dated for approx. 2 months while he was on assignment there, working on some sort of water project in the village. Upon giving birth to me she left me at a Holt Children’s Services orphanage on the east side of Seoul, near the Han River. I was adopted and taken to the USA, Minnesota.
