Searching for my brother- "Baby Boy Thompson" adopted at birth, Born on January 10, 1948 in Rapid City, SD. at Regional Hospital. Delivered by Dr. J.D. Bailey Sr. Birth Parents were Marian R Thompson, (maiden name Snyder) and Alden F. Thompson. Was handled as a private adoption by a lawyer and possibly assisted by the doctor. Original Birth certificate is in a sealed file at the Office of State Health Planning and Development, Pierre. SD. Have always assumed that the adoption took place in South Dakota. Mom was 91 when she passed away but she always hoped she’d might some day make contact with him. Maybe there’s still time for us siblings....
