We are looking for our half-sister‚ given up for adoption around 1961. Birth mother was a teenager from Grand Island NE. I was born in April 1960 and was adopted by my maternal grandparents at 1 year old‚ Mildred and Clifford Watson from Grand Island NE. Our sister was born approximately 1 year later. We have no details other than that our mother says that she was sent away to live with a family on a farm and the baby girl was put up for adoption. That she was a "big" baby‚ over 8lbs and beautiful. Our mother went on to get married and have 3 more children. 2 more daughters and a son. We would love to find our sister. I've been told that the father could have also a teen from Grand Island that may have attended University of Nebraska in Kearney‚ NE in 1960-1964. Mothers name‚ Cynthia K Watson‚ Grand Island NE. Would have been 19 or 20 at time of our sisters birth.
