My father was Bobby Dean Perry of Spartanburg, SC born on September 16, 1935. He was supposed to have gotten a woman named Margie McSwain of the same area pregnant. The child was a boy. My father left for the military. According to an aunt this boy was adopted by a stepfather with the name of Johnny High. When I was a little girl another aunt was contacted by someone saying that they were interested in finding my father. My aunt also told me this child she had heard went to prison. I am not sure if he really was adopted by that stepfather but I’ve tried everywhere else to find my brother. I actually do not know the birthdate but just but an estimate. It had to be before my dad went to the Korean War so between 1950-1953 I’m guessing.
