I was born in Columbia south Carolina. the adoption was arranged prior to my birth and i was adopted immediately after i was born. I really am ready to find out who my birth parents are. my name is Erin Eileen Conaughton now. i know nothing about my original family but i want to. my adoptive dad said they were "professionals" i don’t have any idea what that means. I was taken directly from Columbia South Carolina to NJ where i lived almost my entire life. I have a son now and so many questions about who i am. I survived 12 years of addiction and have been sober now for 2.5 years but i feel like there is so much i am missing about myself. I lived in Demarest NJ for 20 years. The people that adopted me were Matthew and Eileen Conaughton. I have a half brother and sister Timmy and Tracy. I know i went back to see my adoption lawyer in Columbia when i was 12 i think i remember she was skinny with i think red hair but i remember nothing else except that i was terrified and overwhelmed.
