My parents (the people who cared for me all my life) are deceased, my mother more recently. I’ve been diagnosed with a serious, life-threatening condition, and would like to have a medical record for at least my birth mother. I was also reluctant to search when my parents were living, not wanting to potentially hurt their feelings. My mother told me my birth mother was in her late twenties and already had three children and was not able to care for another. Don’t know if that is accurate. Born at Roper Hospital, Charleston, SC, October 15, 1969, and was taken home within 2-3 days as far as I know. Eula Codespoti, diseased, was the woman who handled my adoption. The attorney might have been Clyde Turner, Meeting Street. Delivered by Dr. Rivers. Dr. Berry was my parents’ chosen pediatrician, even at the hospital immediately after birth. Please help me. I appreciate any assistance you can/will give. My birth certificate reads Paula Daniell Fogle. Thank you!
