Hey, Before my mom was born her mother had another child a few years before her. My mother’s family would not tell her anything about it. Only they she was probably born between 1968-70 in South Carolina. Probably Charleston. I would really like to finally see my mom know the truth but not really sure where to start. I’m really hoping this can point me in the right direction. Thank you. The birth mother could have gone by 3 different last names at the time. Betty Marie Ward ( Her birth name) or Betty Marie Lesh. When she got married it switched to Betty Marie Miller but I think that wasn’t til later, 80s I believe.
