Pastor of a Baptist Church in a border town of SC connected the adopted parents with our child. He was born on February 27 th 1997 in Augusta GA. At University hospital. May have been MCG. We called him Drew but no birth certificate was signed. He was pre mature and was in an incubator. He was adopted immediately. Maybe a few days later. The adoptive parents were friends of the Pastor. Possibly from Florida where he went to School at Stetson College or Seminary at Southern Baptisit Theology Seminary. It was a closed adoption. Donna and I both hope our birth son is ok and have good parents. We were young kids and felt really conflicted and pressured about the whole thing. But we were told it would be for the best. We trust the community of people we had talking to us. We wish the best for him and would like to touch base with him, if he also would want this. Thank you
