My mother was a 5’7 Black female she was 19 with a 2-3 year old daughter in 1988. She became pregnant with me and decided to give me up for adoption. She kept my older sister, to my knowledge. My mother signed all paperwork at the hospital and may have told her family that I died during labor. I have the first name Sharon for my birth mother, but this may be wrong. She was born on August 25, 1968 this is accurate. I was born in Beaufort, County on June 13, 1988. After I was born, she requested pictures of me several pictures actually. However, she never traveled to see me or my family. SC records do not allow me to see any other information. I do not want to complicate any lives I just want details for my own closure.
