I was borne on November 20, 1966 at was was known as Greenville General Hospital at 11:19 pm. My weight was 7lbs-10 1/2 oz. I was 21 inches in length, my head size was 13 inches and my chest size was 13 inches at birth. The information that I have gathered shows that I was transferred from the hospital to the Childrens’ Bereau of SC boarding home on 11/28/1966. I believe the boarding home was in Columbia, SC but I am not sure. From what I can tell from my research, my mother was a 19-year old black female(very pretty) that worked at a local restaurant, and my father was 5’10 " about 175 lbs. with black hair, brown eyes and an olive complexion. The boarding home mother name was Mrs. S., and I was about 6-7 months old when I was adopted by a couple in Orangeburg, SC. I also found out that my birth mother had 6 children including me. Four others were placed for adoption. They were (1) Baby girl -born in 1962, (2) baby boy-born in 1963, (3) baby girl -born in 1964- not released for adoption, (4) baby girl - born in 1965, (5) me-baby girl - born in 1966, (6) baby(sex unknown) - born in 1971 - not released for adoption.
