Adoptive family last name Pedigo or Bonzo. 3 weeks old. Adoption never kept a secret from me, have known since I can remember being able to know about it. Adoptive family knew nothing about birth parents other than they believed birth mother was young, 16/17 years and gave me up possibly in a “home for young/unwed mother’s.” An elected official in South Carolina helped out as a reference for my adoptive mom can’t remember name, not sure role, possibly a state representative at the time, first name might be Jim, not sure. I really have no info from which to start, I do believe adoptive family shared any info, truthfully as known to them and they didn’t know anything other than what I already stated. Grasping at straws here, in all honesty. Have done AncestryDNA.
