I am searching for my maternal grandmother's side of the family. I just found out my mom was born Florence Brown‚ which I grew up believing was Florence Mike. She was born in Beaufort County‚ South Carolina. Her mother's name was Rosalee Brown (aka Rosalie‚ Rosa Lee) maiden name Young. My mom now is 90+ and she doesn't recall much. Her father may not be listed on her birth certificate. I found out that a family member‚ Sarah Brown‚ noted my mother was living with her during the 1940 census.
