My deceased father was born in North Spartanburg SC June 14‚ 1931 and his adopted parents lived in Spartanburg SC. I was told by his step brother that he was adopted within six months of birth. No other information is known. The last time I checked‚ the state of SC only allowed the adoptee to see the adoption records but that has been a few years ago. Any help most appreciated.
