I am searching for my adopted daughter who was born in Myrtle Beach‚ S.C. at Grand Strand General Hospital on‚ or after Nov.3rd of 1978. The adoption was handled by Atty.Harry Pavilack of Myrtle Beach and my OB+GYN at the time was Dr. Sam Harris in Myrtle Beach‚ whom I’m certain‚ has passed away. The adoption was definitely handled in M.B‚ S.C. but I was told the adoptive parents were from up North‚ suggesting Philadelphia or Pittsburgh. I learned later from an attorney associated with Pavilack Law Firm‚ that the adoptive parents were from up North alright‚ North Myrtle Beach‚ S.C.!! I also know that the adoption papers were supposed to have a stipulation for the adoptive parents‚ who would inform the child of the adoption‚ no later than the age of 18‚ but when they felt the child was ready to be told this truth. I have no way to verify this for certain‚ but I have prayed for answers. I have had no other children‚ and I truly want to meet her if she is willing. Both of my parents are deceased‚ but my family members are in full support of my quest‚ so I will continue to search and pray. All paperwork would have my maiden name of Margaret S.Hendrick‚ but I have always went by the nickname Peggy Sue. The father was from Conway‚ S.C. and his name was Donnie Gasque.
