On March 15, 1965, my grandmother gave birth to a baby that was immediately put up for adoption. During a time when it was taboo to be pregnant and unwed, I feel that if my grandmother had had the means to provide and take care of child, she would have. My mother is eager to find the sibling that I she believes is out there. I do not have a lot of information to go on, but here’s what I do know: The baby was born on March 15, 1965 in the Greer, SC or Greenville, SC area. The doctor who delivered the baby was Dr. Peeples. As soon as the baby was born, it was rushed away from my grandmother who never got to hold or see the baby. Also, from what I was told, the baby was a boy and my great-grandfather forced my grandmother to give the baby up.
