My husband was born in Columbia, South Carolina. He was adopted at birth, and adopted by a family in New York. He was told the adoption took place by a private attorney whose building burned down and all records lost. I’ve been told that’s a common story told to all. He is 62 years old and says he will get his answers when he dies. I know it is eating him up inside not knowing, therefore I am praying to God that I can find anyone from his biological family to bring him some peace.
