I’m searching on behalf of a mother, Helen. Her daughter Lovetta, was born in Sierra Leone in 1991 during the civil war. She were placed in an orphanage in Makeni called HANCI (short for Help A Needy Child) but she was not an orphan. She was adopted along with another boy called Mustapha who was not her child. I don’t know the names of her adopted parents but I know that she has an uncle called Ray and and aunt called Doris on her adoptive mothers side. The picture in the profile is of Lovetta’s adopted parents, it’s the only thing information I have about them. Lovetta may have been told that her mother had died or that she had abandoned her but this was not the case. HANCI was recently investigated for trafficking children and adopting them to families without their parents knowledge and her mother just wants her to know that she is alive, that she did not give her up and maybe one day see her again.
