My father was adopted in the 60s by Isobel and John Coburn who resided in Blackwater town in Northern Ireland. My father was born in Scotland but was given up for adoption. It is to my knowledge that the Coburn family learnt of my father Francis Coburn as my Aunty Elizabeth Coburn worked in the children’s home where he was sent to. My father is known to most by Francis Patrick Coburn but I am also to believe he has been known by John Francis and Francis Patrick John Coburn over the years.
