My name is John Lindsay Campbell and i was born in Motherwell at 196 Muir street in 1946. My mother was called Mary Campbell and granny and grandad were called Grace and William Campbell. We were place into a children’s called’ Quarrier’s children’s home’ in Bridge of weir on the out skirts of Glasgow where we lived for a short while before being transferred to a home in Hamilton called ’well view children’s home’. My Brother and sister were both adopted from here in 1952, Linda was only a baby, 2 weeks old and Bobby (i think ) was 4. Bobby (Robert Campbell) D.O.B 10.03.1948, bprn in a maternity home Motherwell, scotland.
