My mum Doreen (Mary) King‚ born to Mary King who was early teens when she gave birth to my mum in July 1941 at Stobhill Hospital. Potentially stayed in Garscube Road‚ Maryhill Glasgow. We think Mum was given up for adoption/fostering at birth. She had a few foster family’s 1 being in Rutherglen Glasgow‚ before being put in to the care of the good shepherd nuns and then the daughters of charity in Edinburgh. Mum attempted to look for her mum in the 60s but when she attend the address‚ nobody knew any Kings. Can’t rule out she was at a relatives to give birth.
