Hi I am trying to help my dad find his half sister. Unfortunately, we have very little information to work with. We believe she was born between the late 1930s - early 1940s to Mary Ryan in a Mother & Baby Home in Ireland (we believe in either Cork or Limerick). We believe she remained in Ireland for the early part of her childhood and then moved to Scotland, where we believe she still is now. She did try and trace her routes in Ireland, however, unfortunately, she was turned away by an older family member. My dad only found out about all of this and having a half sister 2 years ago. We know this is a long shot, however, my dad would love to make contact.
