I am searching for my sister born under the name Susan McCallum Cairns on 20 February 1969‚ I am 42 years old and my mother has just informed me that when she was 16 her parents forced her to have an adoption. This was perhaps due to that generation and not being married to my father‚ this has been Unknown to me up until my father’s untimely death last week. My name is Christopher Brock‚ As far as I am aware‚ my sister was adopted by a couple living in Hamilton. And was organised through the national vigilance association of Scotland adoption society which used to be on Renfield Street in Glasgow. The birth certificate was registered in Glasgow under Susan McCallum Cairns by a registrar called John Hutchinson. The only documentation I have is a birth certificate and also a letter from the adoption agency providing a few photographs of my sister which was dated on the 13th of October 1969.
