I wasn’t immediately adopted. I spent some time in a children’s home in Kilmarnock. I may have been born in ayr. I have a vague recollection that someone once told me I was called Arlene initially but perhaps by care givers rather than birth parents. I was born on the 22nd March and I believe adopted in December of 1976. Apart from that I have no further info unfortunately…
