I’m searching for my mum’s birth mother, she would love to meet her. From what we know her name was Elizabeth Tinney and she gave birth to my mum when she was 24. We think we was from around the Greenock area and the father was a man named John Hughes who was married to someone else at the time with 2 children, he was also 24 and we believe he had red hair, just like my mum. We believe she was an auxiliary nurse and was short at 5"1.
