Birth was in The Queen Mother Hospital Glasgow, I think it was a Dr Willox, The Church of Scotland was taking care of the adoption from mother and baby home in Pollocksheilds Glasgow by a welfare lady named Mrs Child’s, as far as I can remember the child was going to a couple in Ayrshire (Kilmarnock ?), I don’t know why but I seem to think he was either in mining or the railway, I was only 15yrs at the time and didn’t get privy to any information.
