My biological mother was adopted in Edinburgh‚ Scotland in approx 1944 aged around 2 years old. She never knew her biological mother or father. She has passed away in 2007 but gave me her blessings to search. My mother Sandra Patricia Grant Waltham ( married name Jones) always used to say she was a ’barnardo child’..I do not know if her name was given to her at time of birth or when she was later adopted.
