My father‚ Michael George Ewacheski‚ had 3 sons by women in the Kamsack area of Saskatchewan sometime around 1930-1940. Apparently social services approached my father and his wife (my mother) and a payment of $1000 was made towards their adoption. The mothers may have been from the Kamsack Reserve‚ but I am not sure. The last of the 3 boys was brought home to our house for a short period before being adopted as well. I don’t have many other details than this.
